Nass Business Man amongst award winners in crock park

Naas entrepreneur Brian Stacey was honored last weekend, for meeting the highest standards of services and trust in his industry.

Contractors BS Tiling is owned by Brain Stacey who started out on his own, but now employs 18 staff making him one of the biggest and busiest tiling contractors in Ireland!

A native Lacken View, Naas, Brian attended CBS primary school and St. Patrick’s Community College in his native home town. He established his tiling business at Aylmer Park in 1999 and managed to survive the ensuing construction bubble, ie Ireland’s massive economic collapse.

BS Tiling has worked on many major contracts including projects at Croke Park, Citywest, the Conrad and Maldron  Hotels, the redevelopment of the Curragh racecourse and many housing developments across Co Kildare. BS Tiling also has sub contracted for many well-known contractors such as Elliot Group and Sisk Group.

His was one of three local companies to achieve the All-Ireland Business All-Star Accreditation, an independently verified standard mark for indigenous businesses, based on rigorous selection criteria and overseen by All-Ireland Business Foundation.

Two other Country Kildare companies were honored – Clane’s Pop-Up Races, which manages athletic events and Maynooth catering company Cater Waiter.

The judging panel for the awards is chaired by Dr Briga Hynes of the Kemmy Business School at the University of Limerick and Kieran Ring, CEO of the Global Institute of Logistics.

Dr Hynes said the accreditation, now held by 300 firms, is needed by small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards and follow a thorough evaluation, A delighted Brian is photographed here with his wife Fran, at Croke Park last week accepting his accreditation award – hope you got to admire your handwork, Brian!
