FORMER President of South Dublin Chamber, Margaret Considine was accredited with the coveted Thought Leader accreditation by the All-Ireland Business Foundation.
This is an independently verified standard mark for indigenous businesses, based on rigorous selection criteria.
Ms. Considine, CEO of business consultancy firm EQuita Group, was President of South Dublin Chamber from 2017-2019.
“We have a small team of very talented people in EQuita Group, and although it is I who received the accreditation, I can say for all my team that we are delighted,” said Ms. Considine.
“The journey from our initial engagement to finally receiving the recognition has been enlightening, and the positivity that has flowed to my colleagues and encouraged a new level of trust.”
“The accreditation will provide me with the tools and know-how of how I, as a business person, engages with my clients, colleagues, and suppliers.” The improved performance of the EQuita Group as a single entity will help us attain our business goals.
“My accreditation and the knowledge gained through the process have provided me with a more powerful customer-centric approach to our company strategy and the implementation of our offerings, including our corporate training, business consulting, and mediation services.”
The accreditation is overseen by the All-Ireland Business Foundation, whose adjudication panel is chaired by Dr. Briga Hynes of the Kemmy Business School at the University of Limerick and Kieran Ring, CEO of the Global Institute of Logistics.
Dr. Hynes said the accreditation, which is now held by over 350 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses that operate to their standards but have nothing to measure them by.
“We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness, and performance, and we speak to customers, employees, and vendors,” she said.
“We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience.”
“The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics.”
The All-Ireland Business Foundation is responsible for overseeing the All-Ireland Business Summit and All-Star awards, ongoing All-Star accreditation, Thought Leader awards and promoting peer dialogue among members.
